FUTURE CITIES

We were joined by Hanah Corlett of HNNA.
In her presentation Hannah shared her insight into the Greenwich Design District Masterplan as a case study to open up discussion on the physical and economic scale of future cities, broader ways of encouraging innovation by challenging design guidance, and the need to engage with long term sustainable big picture strategies.
COVID-19 AND CONSTRUCTION

Adapting to a new way of working was the theme of the keynote presentation at the 2020 AGM it was self evident as the event was also our first ever online AGM and Seminar.
Dr Wendy Jones and Prof Alistair Gibb shared their insight into how Covid-19 has created a step change in behaviours and techniques in the construction environment based on the research paper (link here) written in in conjunction with Loughborough University and a industry sponsors.
